Inspect & Secure

Select your dream vehicle and we'll have it professionally inspected. After sending your refundable deposit, move forward confidently with auction bidding or dealer purchase knowing you have the best information available. We provide complete transparency with auction sheet translations, inspection reports, and winning bid documentation.

Step 3

Export & Delivery

After a successful purchase, simply pay the invoice and we handle everything else. Your vehicle will be transported to the nearest port where photos will be taken, an additional inspection done and a booking on the next ship to your port will be made. We provide all necessary paperwork and can even help arrange import brokerage and inland transport.

				After doing a bit of research I settled on using JCD to bid at the Japanese auctions for me and to facilitate the import of my dream car into Australia. Whenever I saw a car of interest, Mason would normally reply within an hour with a short video translating the Japanese auction sheet and additional info he had. They also organised additional inspections and photos at your request before you bid. Once I placed a winning bid, they used a partner shipping company (Dolphin shipping) and transferred all the info to them. From there the shipping company had a few extra questions and shipped my car and sent me an invoice for their services just before the car landed in AUS. These guys are very accessible, friendly and do a great job. Highly recommend. Thanks Mason for a job well done!

				After deciding to import a vehicle myself from Japan to the US, Japan car direct was one of the first names to come up. Of course this being the first time that I have ever done anything like this I had countless questions about the process and how it all works. Mathew from JCD could not have made this whole process any easier for me, I look forward to doing more business with them when I am ready for my next import car. the entire process was very trustworthy and completely transparent from the very beginning and I would recommend them to anyone 100%!

				I purchased a JDM 2008 Toyota Prius through Japan Car Direct last year. The export agent, Mason, was easy to work with and made the process predictable and straight forward, so there were no surprises or hidden costs with the car itself and with logistics. The logistics supplier that Mason referred to in Vancouver to import the car into Canada was also very helpful and made the process stress free. Mason went above and beyond just facilitating the transaction and sourced new tires, rims, and accessories for the car that the car needed or that didn't come with the car. This was a big help as these parts and accessories for a 2008 Prius were either unavailable in Canada or would have cost an arm and a leg to purchase through a dealership. I was amazed at how good condition the car was in when it arrived. I picked it up in Vancouver and, right off the boat, drove it over 4000km straight to Ontario to get it home without any mechanical issues along the way.
